Terms of personal data protection

We operate an online store on the website www.jarmile.com

 

To provide our services, sell goods, and operate our website, we process certain personal data.

The processing of personal data is mainly governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR").

A. Processing of Personal Data in the Case of a Purchase

If you make a purchase from us, we will work with the data you provide to us. This mainly includes billing information: name, surname, address, email, and phone number.

Why?


We need to process personal data in order to fulfill our contract – to deliver our goods or services to you. We will also use your contact details to communicate with you regarding the status of your order, any complaints, or your inquiries.


We will further process personal data to fulfill our legal obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or to handle complaints and other matters).

On what legal grounds do we process personal data?


This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – performance of the contract, and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR – compliance with our legal obligations.

How long will we process personal data?


For the duration of our service and for 24 months after the last provision of such service or delivery of goods.

B. Newsletters (Commercial Communications)


If you are a purchasing customer and did not opt out during the purchase, we will use your email address to send you our updates.

On what legal grounds?


This is allowed by Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on Certain Information Society Services, if you did not opt out during the purchase.

How long will we process personal data?


For 24 months from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time via email or by contacting us at: jarmile@barborajelinkova.com

II. Who will have access to the data?


Your data will remain with us only.


We process personal data solely within the European Union.

III. What else should you know?
In our company, we do not have a designated Data Protection Officer.

In our company, decisions based on automated processing or profiling do not occur.

V. Your rights in relation to the processing of personal data
The GDPR grants you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data we process, to access these data, and to have them updated or corrected, or to request a restriction on processing. You can request a copy of the processed personal data, request their deletion under certain circumstances, and under certain conditions have the right to their portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest.

If you believe that we are not handling the data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection or take your claims to court.

These terms are effective from September 1, 2022.
